Thanks to Syd, we now have a display in the rotunda of the hospital from now until late December. Stop by if you have a chance and see these works of art. It is a truly beautiful display of a wide variety of wood turning art. As the organizer commented, “these works are much more than the usual woodturning.” In fact, I don’t think there is a single simple bowl in the display. Lots of carving, piercing, coloring, natural edges,  burls, and other unique pieces. Take a moment to explore the five other art exhibits around the hospital. Lots of great work by local artists in photography, oils, watercolor, as well as our woodturning. There is also a spectacular life-sized moose sculpture made of driftwood.
